Its never too late to come back to God!
As a child I was sent to Sunday School at the Glynn Vivian Miners Mission on Mill Hill (now Deal Pentecostal Church). So I grew up knowing that Jesus Christ loved me. I continued to attend Sunday School regularly until I was in my early teens when other more important things attracted my attention.
I was married in 1962 and 3 years later my husband, who was in the RAF became a Christian by asking Jesus to forgive his sins and become part of his life. This drew me back into the Christian life. I experienced God’s love in many ways as I struggled with the usual difficulties of bringing up a young family in a service environment with the constant changing of homes and schools.
In 1973 we returned to Deal and became members of the Pentecostal Church. I was actively involved with the Children’s work and not only experienced God operating in my own life but also in the lives of those young people. Due to personal reasons, I stopped attending Church some years ago but I always knew that God still loved and cared for me. In 1999 I came back to the Church and found a loving, caring atmosphere which was God centred. On 26th January 2000 I asked Jesus to once again become the centre of my life. Since then, on a daily basis I have experienced the presence of God in a new way.
Perhaps, like me you once knew and believed in God. It is not too late to come back to Him and once again experience the love and peace that only He can give.
